1. About us

This website is operated by Find My Bearings, a trading name of Dungannon Bearing Co Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, along with our Delivery Information, Returns Policy, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy.

2. Use of the website

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract to place an order on this website.

You agree not to misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with its operation, or use it for unlawful purposes.

All content on this website, including text, images, product data, and branding, remains our intellectual property and may not be reproduced without prior written consent.

3. Product information & suitability

We make every effort to ensure product descriptions, specifications, and pricing are accurate. However:

  • Product images are for illustration purposes only
  • Specifications may vary between manufacturers
  • Availability is subject to change

You are responsible for ensuring products are suitable for your intended application.
If you are unsure, please contact us before placing your order.

Any technical advice provided is offered in good faith, based on information supplied by the customer, and does not replace professional assessment of suitability.

4. Orders & contract formation

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase goods.

A contract is formed only once:

  • payment has been successfully processed, and
  • we have confirmed acceptance of your order.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders at our discretion, including where pricing errors occur, stock is unavailable, or misuse is suspected.
If payment has already been taken, a full refund will be issued.

5. Prices & payment

All prices are shown exclusive of VAT, unless stated otherwise. VAT is charged at the applicable rate.

Payment must be made at the time of ordering unless a pre-approved trade account is in place.

Trade pricing and any discounts are negotiated on an individual basis and are not guaranteed.

6. Availability & stock

While we hold stock for many items, some products are supplied from third-party distribution warehouses, including suppliers based outside the UK.

Where items are not held in stock, we aim to dispatch within 4–5 working days from order confirmation, subject to availability.

If an item becomes unavailable after ordering, we may offer:

  • a suitable alternative, or
  • a full refund.

7. Delivery

Delivery options, costs, and cut-off times are displayed during checkout and detailed on our Delivery Information page.
Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Courier service levels (e.g. Next Day, 2 Day) refer to the courier’s service and do not constitute a delivery guarantee.
Risk in goods passes to you upon delivery.

We are not liable for delays caused by couriers, weather, customs clearance, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

8. Consumer cancellation rights

If you are a consumer purchasing online, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, in line with UK consumer law.

To qualify:

  • you must notify us within 14 days of delivery
  • goods must be returned within 14 days of cancellation
  • items must be unused, unfitted, and in resalable condition

Consumers may handle goods only to the extent necessary to inspect them.
We may make a deduction for any loss in value resulting from handling beyond this.

Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed.

9. Trade customers & incorrectly ordered goods

Returns for trade customers or incorrectly ordered items are subject to approval.

Where approved:

  • goods must be unused and in resalable condition
  • original packaging must be intact
  • a handling / restocking charge of up to 25% may apply
  • delivery charges are non-refundable

Any applicable handling charge will be confirmed prior to return approval.
Handling charges do not apply to faulty or incorrectly supplied goods.

10. Faulty or damaged goods

Goods should be inspected upon receipt.

Faulty or damaged items must be reported within 30 days of delivery.

Where goods are confirmed to be faulty, we will offer repair, replacement, or refund as required under consumer law.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for:

  • loss of profits, loss of business, or indirect or consequential losses
  • misuse, incorrect installation, or unsuitable application of products
  • failure arising from conditions beyond our control

We do not control installation methods, operating conditions, or end-use environments and cannot accept liability arising from these factors.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or breach of statutory consumer rights.

Our total liability shall not exceed the value of the goods supplied.

12. Force majeure

We are not liable for failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to industrial action, supplier disruption, transport delays, or extreme weather.

13. Privacy & data protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which form part of these Terms.

14. Changes to these Terms

We reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.
Changes take effect once published on our website.

15. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland, and the courts of Northern Ireland shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

Nothing in these Terms affects mandatory consumer protections applicable in your country of residence.
